Abou the project
Kookaburra Gallery is a concept art gallery, a vagabond space in constant flux. It is an online art gallery and a curatorial journey through various spaces in London. It's a park in the city center and a stage on top of a narrow-boat. Fleeting and magical. Blank canvas-turned-masterpiece.
Established by an independent curator and art historian Marta Grabowska, it emerged from the need to find a flexible and alternative exhibition space in London, a city packed with unaffordable and unfriendly to artists and audiences alike, commercial galleries.
Kookaburra Gallery champions the values of slow art. It aims to promote emerging artists, local and international, who create across the boundaries of the medium, emplacement and condition.
We promote art and artistic values everywhere we cruise!
